Review #114: JUL 08 Definitely the best of the JLP line. I paired it with a simple Coca-Cola. The combination brought forth a pistachio flavor in the second third continuing on in to the final. I am buying and enjoying as many as I can get. 08 is definitely a milestone year for Altadis. This is first time I've had it and was only expecting mediocre, but got exceptional. I bet the caveat is that they are only good young. They have this wonderful tannic quality that screams longevity but I bet it fissile. - Submitted by semery74 on May 31, 2009

Review #113: this cigar is excellent for the price..it has a nice taste and strength...even better if you get them for freee....some are not rolled well but they all have a good smoking profile - Submitted by sause2112 on May 29, 2009

I am buying and enjoying as many as I can get. 08 is definitely a milestone year for Altadis. This is first time I've had it and was only expecting mediocre, but got exceptional. These are $1.4/ea duty free, which is the best price I've seen. I bet the caveat is that they are only good young. Review #111: This cigar is not just a poor man's cuban. It is also an aficionado's bargain! Not a cigar with good construction but it got the classic cuban aroma that let it passes the taste test. At this price there is not much you can complain about. - Submitted by im_2_real on May 14, 2009
