Jose L. Piedra Brevas Review:

Petit Corona type, a medium-bodied, well-balanced cigar, not subtle yet a robust one delivering a full mouth of earthy and rawer Cuban flavors, again at a good price.

- Submitted by harrison4569 on March 20, 2018

Review #77: Medium to full-bodied. Earth and leather, complemented by notes of nuts, coffee and sweet pepper. With a long lingering aftertaste. Good aging potentials. Suited for the seasoned smokers only. Otherwise can be bitter and harsh. These cigars I was told, are made with the short fillers from variety blends, based on the unusable pieces from Habanos productions. Cohiba, RyJ, Partagas, Montecristo, etc. And given the Habanos total production, Jose L. Piedra happens to be the most produced cigar, along with the Montecristo. I prefer the Petit Cazadores size which delivers a consistent draw amongst all JLP vitolas. With no disappointment. But since they were out, bought this vitola. They used to carry all sizes in singles at the Habanos store here in Tehran (Iran). Recently for inventory purpose they are offering them in 25 counts or small 5-packs only. Around $3 per stick. - Submitted by hrgerami@hotmail.com on September 21, 2016

Review #76: Cheap but intresting cigar. Earth tastes up to 2/3 and great honey feeling on the lips. Good draw and smoke amount. Last third was awful bitter and amminia taste that made me leave the cigar on the ashtray for burning out. For the 1,8 paid was a good experience but tou get what you paid for maybe a little more... - Submitted by jkorbos on April 24, 2016

Review #75: MAY 14 hmm...not impresssed, can't even offer these to a friend unless they are really understanding...Very hit or miss as far as draw and burning consistency....taste fine though so I will age these and hope they start to loosen up and draw well... - Submitted by stuffins on March 9, 2016
