Μου άφησε αρκετά καλές εντυπώσεις. Στην αρχή ελαφριά και στη συνέχεια πιο ισχυρή, με σταθερή ξυλώδη γεύση που «παίζει» με μια κρεμώδη γλυκύτητα, ένα μίγμα που μου φάνηκε ιδιαίτερα γευστικό ως το τέλος. Αν και το πούρο ήταν λίγο σφιχτά τυλιγμένο, δεν είχα δυσκολία στο τράβηγμα. Το κάπνισα αργά, γιατί διαπίστωσα πως υπερθερμαίνεται εύκολα κι αυτό δημιούργησε μικροπροβλήματα στην καύση, (χρειάστηκε να του βάλω φωτιά κάνα δυο φορές ακόμα). Η corona είναι ένα format που σιγά-σιγά χάνει την παλιά της αίγλη και φθίνει και φαίνεται καθαρά, πως οι κουβανέζικες φίρμες δεν δίνουν πια ιδιαίτερο βάρος στην παραγωγή της. (Η συγκεκριμένη vitola της Hoyo είναι υποψήφια από πέρυσι για deletion, κυρίως λόγω των χαμηλών πωλήσεων). Δύσκολοι καιροί για όλους, κι όπως είπε ο Κικέρωνας στον Κατιλίνα, “o tempora, o mores”, - Άλλος ένας «βασιλιάς», θα χάσει την «κορώνα» του… - Submitted by cipu on February 19, 2009

--- 99 The change from mild to medium smoke is what impresses me the most with this cigar. Through this change the cigar maintains its balance. Surprisingly creamy yet in perfect harmony with the cigar. The cigars I've had are from my box dated 1999. Age has brought out the best in these cigars. Never rough. It's weakness is that it's such a good cigar that it almost has nothing to say. However, anyone serious about cigars will know that this is a fantastic corona. I can't find anything bad to say about this cigar. The burn, draw, construction, aroma, and flavours are all impressive. - Submitted by cookj1 on September 30, 2008

--- 02 Le Hoyo line from HdM it’s not very interesting for my palette but I have to admit that they have nice presentation. I got this du Roi as a gift in dinner party and of course couldn’t refuse it. If I remember correctly it’s came from 2002. Average looking wrapper with few veins and acceptable draw. Cigar was on the light side, with woody and coffee flavors. More or less one dimensional and linear smoke without any depth. - Submitted by Diademo on September 29, 2008
