Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Maire Review:
We can find here a typical "Le Hoyo" taste, woody above all. This cigar, being small and thin as it is, is perfect for beginners, easy to smoke and with quick combustion. Strongly recommended for those who do not have much time and want about 25 minutes of smoking pleasure.

Review #11: a beautiful little cigar! equally beautiful in taste and aroma. do not be afraid of any presumed tight draw since small cigars like these actually perform better with a slightly tighter draw. i was a bit sceptical at the sight of it at first, with it being so small and all, but it really stood up and claimed it's territory proudly. perfect smoke for a sunny day deep in the woods. - Submitted by oblazt on October 26, 2007
Review #10: In addition to my previous comments I have found with my last box that some of the sticks are more tightly rolled than others in places, and so have had a bit of a hit and miss experience, with a very tight draw with little smoke on occasions. - Submitted by Alexander Dent on June 20, 2007
Review #9: What a great little cigar. I rarely have the time or location for a long smoke, so I have been looking for a shorter smoke. This little cigar seems to have it all; a depth of flavour that is more than would be expected by it's small size, an even burn and a smoothness that maintains throughout. Even when you smoke most of the length, it does not get hot, tarry or acrid. For those with little time, I think this is a perfect smoke. I enjoyed mine with a glass of fine unfiltered southern French wine, and am looking forward to having another over coffee soon. - Submitted by Alexander Dent on May 16, 2007
Review #8: A nice quick smoke with some cedar and toasted tobacco notes. Great for the afternoon or morning coffee - Submitted by jqmunro on March 29, 2007
Review #7: Definitely the best cigar in the small range. Taste is rich and full bodied, with a touch of the heavenly aroma I've found only in the Epicuré Especiales. - Submitted by redplotas on January 12, 2007
