Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo des Dieux Review:

Known as the best of Le Hoyo series, Le Hoyo des Dieux offers an extraordinary woody taste, not the common woody taste, but one which belongs to exotic patterns in great balance. A minimum ageing of at least five years is recommended for this cigar.

Review #46: Damn. Mine was way too young. I could sense the greatness, but a lot of harshness. Needs age - Submitted by Kangaroo495 on June 8, 2009

Review #45: APR 00 I was not been greatly impressed when i got a box of 00. Even after my 1st smoke, the taste was so even and normal. But after few months-age in a 20/72 condition, its strength fully comes-out no matter in taste, aroma. Smell of flower fills-up the whole box and every sinlge stick. It's great stuff..i believed. - Submitted by ericryan on May 25, 2009

Review #44: FEB 07 I've had about 10 from this box and each has been excellent, they are smoking great now, although I believe they have great depth which will see continued improvement going forward. I have a second box to leave for a couple of years but may have to PU a third they are that nice. - Submitted by randallp on May 17, 2009

Review #43: I want to reiterate what Reviewer #40 said -you MUST lay these cigars down for about a year (or more) to get real flavor out of them. Case in point, after a year of resting in my humidor, I got great flavors of bittersweet chocolate and aromas of various exotic woods that I was not at all expecting. I also love the size of this vitola - between a corona gorda and a lonsdale. When I smoked one last year, it didn't do much for me - thought it was kind of flat, fairly generic "cuban tobacco" flavor without anything particularly prominent about it. Wow was the wait worth it! - Submitted by Goldenberg on April 12, 2009

Review #42: JUN 00 I bought 4 cabinets x 25. What an amazing vitola! Smooth, easy to draw, full of flavor. Nice and easy burn. Well balanced. Great value for the money. Definitely one of the best Hoyos. - Submitted by ericbmf on March 15, 2009
