Review #10: This cigar represents the contemporary zenith of Cuban cigar construction at this size. This is the only cigar, of this size, which I have ever rated a 10 and I rank the piramides as my favourite vitola after the double corona. The draw of this cigar is exceptional as is the fluidity of the burn. The cigar creates a large amount of smoke which is extremely thick and rich in its consistency. As in the case of almost all great piramides/torpedoes this is not a cigar that I would recommend to the novice. However, for those who are seeking a cigar that will soon be near impossible to find and bursting with both character and presence, I couldn't recommend this cigar more highly. - Submitted by Jay K. on December 29, 2004

Review #9: This is the most balanced blend I´ve ever tryed. Vanilla, coffee and cinnamom flavors predominate in a creamy richness. Not so powerful, but very pleasant smoke. One of the best habanos in recent years. - Submitted by Tocha on December 6, 2004

Review #8: I picked up three of these little babies after smoking one at hotel du vin in birmingham,i loved the colour and the feel but the smoke was best of all, peacefuly deep with a mature bitternes that lasts. get some if you can. - Submitted by David John on October 21, 2004Submitted by David John on October 21, 2004

Review #7: I have tried a couple of these piramides and they really are sensational. I bought them locally here in Toronto at a well known shop where good advice is always at hand. The Piramides LE 2003 burn with amazing eveness, the quality of smoke is neither harsh or overpowering, but distinctly rich cuban! On my next visit to Havana I will have a box of these on my shopping list, although I'm told they are now hard to come by. - Submitted by jjme on September 25, 2004

Review #6: Call me crazy but I am not a huge fan of the EL's in general. But now we are talking about the Hoyo Piramide EL,which is one of my favorite cigars of all. Construction is always flawless. Rich flavors of cocoa and cinnamon, with a spicy and sweet finish. Fantastic balance in what I can only call a blockbuster of a cigar. In my opinion a must try for any true cigar lover. - Submitted by CoolBurn on August 13, 2004
