Review #16: Simply the King of all Cubans! I spent this summer sampling all available brands of similar vitola and the winner was clearly this one, as close to perfection as a cigar could be. Especially the last third develops an aroma never found in any other cigar I ever smoked. Out of world! Bought a box in August and, sadly only 6pcs remain. Will try and keep them for special occasions. - Submitted by redplotas on January 12, 2007

Review #15: When my slb of these Hoyo EL's first arrived I was slightly disappointed with the unbalanced flavors. After two years of age they are starting to round into great cigars and with a couple of more years they are destined for greatness. Unlike the Hoyo EL Piramides these Gorditos required time to develop their creaminess and sweetness. But then again not too many Habanos have measured up to the Hoyo Piramides. - Submitted by Michael Moore on January 3, 2007

Review #14: I think this is as close to perfection as a cigar can get - if I could find any more I'd buy them without hesitation. It produces masses of dens rich smoke - creamy vanilla and cocoa with an underlying Hoyo wood and spice backbone. I preferred these to the Hoyo Piramide which was a little more muted. If someone can tell me where I can get more I'll be there! - Submitted by Kieron McCann on July 18, 2006

Review #13: This cigar is just about perfect. My regular cigar is the Epicure #2. This cigar does have a different taste than the Epicure #2. I believe it is a little stronger in taste. It had a good draw and burned pretty even. I am looking forward to smoking my next one. - Submitted by hoyoman on July 18, 2006

Review #12: I agree with Reviewer #10, this cigar has not the tipical Hoyo flavor. I smoked 12 puros from a box purchased in the Meliá Cohiba, Havana in feb/05. It´s too young and deserves at least 4 to 5 years until becomes an excellent smoke. - Submitted by Tocha on March 15, 2006
