Review #26: JUN 08 Wow! Perfect burn and very strong, great taste. Careful with this one though...I have at least one cigar a day, and tried this one only 4 days after receiving shipment, and was so strong with nicotine that I got a bit dizzy, sweaty, nauseous. Easily the strongest cigar I've tried so far. Took me 1.5 hours to finish. Great earthy, creamy, cuban flavor, but couldnt finish it- was too strong. Buying couple more boxes of ten this week, and will save these for special occassions or if I am drinking. Highly recommended for seasoned smokers. 9.5 out of ten - Submitted by quint1356 on March 11, 2009

Review #25: FEB 08 Just received a cabinet of 25 of the re released Epi Especial like Hercule mentioned in review #22. Wonderful constructed smoke! Veiny, oily connecticut wrapper with a perfect round 50 ring gauge. I punched this cigar to get the flavor on the tip of my tongue. The first 1/3rd started off with a perfect draw with medium flavors of earthy grassy undertones, yummy!!! The cigar continued this way until the 2nd part of the cigar where it kicked in leathery flavors while still maintaing the consistency of earthy, grassy undertones. The final part of this cigar is my favorite, it kicked in with tons of peppery spices and never lost the previous flavors.. Unbelievable!!! I agree with all the other reviews that this cigar has the potential of being rated a 10 however due to being a re issue this cigar is a bit young and will only mature to a cigar to be reckoned with. - Submitted by galva on January 11, 2009

Review #24: APR 04 Truly outstanding cigar with a slow start but a great middle and an amazing finish. Had a little bit of a tight draw but I think with a few years of aging and slightly less humidification it could be a perfect cigar - Submitted by Texas on October 27, 2008

Review #23: what an incredible smoke. Perhaps the best cigar I've ever had. Rich and flavorful with perfect construction and draw. Medium bodied and stronger at the finish. DELICIOUS. - Submitted by mik1118 on September 25, 2008

Review #22: --- 08 The RE-RELEASES are out, and while there is no own thread here, we'll have to post here... Just sampled a first-batch one from cabinet of 25 - although very young, it showed great promise. Perfect construction and wrappers ALMOST as great as seen on the ELs. The character of the Le Hoyo line AND the Limitada were reminiscent in this first sample. While still lacking the sweetness, which typically comes out in Le Hoyos after three or more years, it was tasty as well as considerably spicier and stronger than the shorter Epicure No.2. I might dare a lot, but I hope and believe that at least these good first release ones will become similarly great as the Limitadas. But obviously, these new ones will therefore need an ageing of about three years, just like the Limitadas did. - Submitted by Hercule Poirot on August 27, 2008
