Review #14: I think this is as close to perfection as a cigar can get - if I could find any more I'd buy them without hesitation. It produces masses of dens rich smoke - creamy vanilla and cocoa with an underlying Hoyo wood and spice backbone. I preferred these to the Hoyo Piramide which was a little more muted. If someone can tell me where I can get more I'll be there! - Submitted by Kieron McCann on July 18, 2006
Review #13: This cigar is just about perfect. My regular cigar is the Epicure #2. This cigar does have a different taste than the Epicure #2. I believe it is a little stronger in taste. It had a good draw and burned pretty even. I am looking forward to smoking my next one. - Submitted by hoyoman on July 18, 2006
Review #12: I agree with Reviewer #10, this cigar has not the tipical Hoyo flavor. I smoked 12 puros from a box purchased in the Meliá Cohiba, Havana in feb/05. It´s too young and deserves at least 4 to 5 years until becomes an excellent smoke. - Submitted by Tocha on March 15, 2006
Review #11: The Epicure Especial has been nothing short of a fantastic smoke for me. After about 6 or 7 of these, I'm finding it difficult to get hold of any more. It's a full-flavoured cigar with a beautiful bite for those that enjoy the stronger smokes. Perfect draw, burns as well as one could hope for. For me at least, they've been amazingly good and consistent. - Submitted by Epic on March 5, 2006
Review #10: I will have a different opinion from the rest of the group here, am afraid. Ive purchased 3 sticks from my supplier inorder to decide about a box purchase. The cigar is naturally, a gem, constructionwise, something to be expected for this kind of cigars (actually it should be expected for all Cuban icgars, but this is something else). The taste was different from the typical Hoyo taste, there were more vegetal and floral notes. Unfortunately, they were present throughout the whole smoking experience and this sort of tired me. The ending is medium bodied, spicy and lets you think there is great aging potential. Time should smooth the profile a bit, but wont change the taste variations that much. The Pyramide 2003 was definitely much better. - Submitted by Dimitris in Athens - Greece on January 4, 2006
