Fantastic Cigar. After trying a range of montechristos, cohibas, partagas and others, this is the best alongside the cohiba esplendido. I can't pick a winner between the two, because they are such different experiences, but if you like strong wood notes in a cigar that is constructed perfectly and ages like a dream, this is for you. finaly a masterpiece! I smoke alot of Cuban cigars and lately have been disappointed with many of them. I smoked a cohiba IV 4 or 5 years ago and was very satisfied. Recently i bought a box of 25 cohiba IV. I dont know what happend but they were all bad! The draw was fine. So i did some close research and the ratings and taste tests all pointed toward Sir Winston. Every other draw exposed new and differnt sensations. especially creamy ones with delicate spice notes. I have not had the best of luck with this cigar. The first, a few years ago was too tight to smoke. My current batch also is tight (64-65% max storage) but smokable. They appear to need many years of aging too as the '01's I have still have a "green" taste to them. I much prefer the Cohiba Esplendido of which every one is pure Heaven! Even the Upmann Monarch has been a finer smoke for me. - Submitted by Shooter on May 25, 2004
