Review #19: A good morning cigar. President Kennedy preferred this milder havana so much that he ordered 1000 to be found for him before he would sign the Cuban trade embargo.

Review #18: H.Upmann petit corona was my first ever cuban cigar I tried. A nice pleasant smoke for about 45 mins to an hour. 1/3 is nice and smooth, 2/3 gets a lot of smoke, and 3/3 is the big bang ending. Good taste, and lots of smoke. Tends to run hot though. Review #17: A spicy little rocket this one and certainly VERY full flavoured. Had this at the Sky Lounge at the Sheraton Hong Kong with a tumbler of Glenmorangie. Could not judge visually due to the dark room and stunning view over the harbour distracting me. Once lit though the intial sensation was just straight power and spice - unlike the usually mild and mid-strength Upmanns I have sampled previously this was a smack to the throat. A third in and even a nice open draw could not warm me to it's virtues - it was just rough and tumble. I have had Monte 4s and this was another step up again in power. Don't get me wrong, manufacture was excellent and it burnt straight, true and with a nice firm ash but the flavour was not what i wanted at the time. I really needed something a little less intrusive and this was not it. Would have been great over beers and a couple of hours of texas hold 'em but not for a quiet night overlooking one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. Review #15: A lovely, mild mareva. I quite enjoyed this cigar, and I would not hesitate to buy it again. It comes in a shade beneath the slightly larger Trinidad Colonial, but it's a much better value. I think it is better than the Monte No. 4, if only by a little bit. It started with nice, earthy flavours, building into a predominantly nutty, creamy middle, with hints of citrus and floral notes. The end became quite spicy, which was a nice development from the mild body of the cigar. Definitely on the mild side, but the complex flavours more than make up for it.
