Review #9: APR 00 smoke one of this great cigar from a 00 box. the cigar is very well constructed and burn very well. The cigar is well packed as such it took long than i expect to finish smoking it. The smoke is very complex and full of favour. There are coffee, spices, and chocolate. In fact, i could have mistaken it for a sir winston but at a discounted price. Very good value cigar for the enjoyment that you gonna get from this cigar. - Submitted by pak on August 17, 2008

Review #8: --- 02 Perfect cigar! Very refined and extremely well-balanced smoke. Simply divine! Smoke this when you want to reassure yourself that an habano is unlike anything else. - Submitted by titobueno76 on August 4, 2008

Review #7: JUN 03 There are 2 reviews on this but mine is spelled with a "ch" so I'll use this one. I don't believe this is "machine-made" as described in the general description above though. I have tried both the boxed and the tubed versions and found that the tubed version, even at an later production of 03, seemed to be a lot milder. Both are sensational smokes with superb draw and dense creamy smoke, with soft spice and complex flavour. However, I would say Sir Winston stills pips this by a nose. - Submitted by worjor on July 25, 2008

Review #6: SEP 01 This was an incredible cigar, in fact one of the absolute finest I have smoked in a couple of years now. I lit one shortly after recieving a box of them in the post, going against all my rules, but it was too tempting. Opening the box revealed extremely oily, bloom-covered wrappers and a very potent aroma of strong, musty, aged Cuban tobacco. I'll simply throw in words that came to mind on smoking the first cigar. Sweet, tea, damp hay, milk chocolate, rich, potent, creamy, musty, dark cocoa powder and sweet woods all developping down on a core of strong, well aged tobacco that has been softened and refined with maturity. A multitude of intoxicating aromas eminated into the air and filled part of the house even though I was outside on the veranda. The cigar burnt slow and well with a medium to stiff draw producing thick clouds of smoke. Some moments of slightly uneven burn which required minimal touching-up but a few months in the right humidor conditions will sort all of that out, after all it had only just arrived in the mail. Paired amazingly with a simple cup of tea and then, around the halfway point, a glass of Casillero del Diablo 2005, an excellent yet inexpensive rich cabernet sauvignon from Chile with a dark, fruity profile. - Submitted by A. Review #5: This current handmade cigar, released pre 1960. Fine balance between woody and spicy, nice tobacco twang, very refined taste. A perfect smoke with a good malt whiskey. - Submitted by cipu on May 7, 2008
