H. Upmann Magnum 50 Review:

After the great success of the Magnum 50 Edicion Limitada 2005, H. Upmann has released this cigar, that will become the benchmark size of the brand.

Review #86: OCT 19 The claro wrapper is smooth, and lets you focus more on the filler tobacco--which for me started off with very light grassy notes with raisins and cloves before turning over into coca, spice, and cedar. Smoked for over an hour-and-a-half until it burned my fingers. Overall a great, medium-bodied cigar that's perfect for a long morning, long lunch, or lighter after-dinner smoke. - Submitted by HerrHonaker on June 4, 2021

Review #85: MAY 17 If you're in mood for a lighter cigar- this one excels. o5/17 box date- slightly tight draw- but not an issue, Even burn and flavors of toast and light woods, - Submitted by Gregg Miller on November 23, 2020

Review #84: MAY   Box date = May ‘16; Love this smoke - perfect draw. Leather, tobacco, wood and a hint of vanilla. Light to medium initially, moving to a solid medium at about the half way point when a bit of white pepper moves in. Very impressed!!! - Submitted by tbeiner on June 3, 2018

Review #83: JUN 13 This one came from a box of 10 purchased from an LCDH, with box code POU JUN 13. It had 7 months rest time, kept at 62% RH. Draw was perfect. 1st third started with a sweet cinnamon spice, wood and earth. Half an inch in, a rich sweetness developed. Smoke output was excellent. 2nd third, the rich sweetness continues with soft leather developing, nutty, earth, and a citrussy twang coming in. Last third, there's a rich fruity sweetness, with earth, wood and a bready note. Satisfying down to the nub. Score is 91, complexity is 4.5 out of 10. - Submitted by jack0846 on February 9, 2018

Review #82: ---   Stonefruit, cloves, cinnamon, spice in second half. Great smoke. - Submitted by mcease on March 11, 2017
