Question. Did this cigar ever come with a different band? A friend gave me 2 sticks that have the regular Upman band with the limitada band below. Every web site photo has the red band. He claimes that early production came with the old band. Do I have a counterfit? - Submitted by Esh on October 15, 2006

This is one phenominal cigar..... Rich, complex and very refined. I enjoyed evey moment and Ièm still kicking myself for not buying the whole box while at the Partagas factory in Havana last year!!!! Definately the highest score I've ever given. - Submitted by newbie on September 24, 2006

I am new to Cuban cigar smoking but here goes. At first appearance the cigar looks rough. The cigar is a bit squishy. After lighting the cigar the flavor hit me right at once. Good rich wood like flavor with a swirl of spice that was superb. The aftertaste was very smooth. The spice of this cigar is excellent. The burn was good but the draw was alittle lose. The cigar was constant all the way through with a really strong finish. I give this cigar a 8.5. If the draw was firm I think it would be a 9 maybe.
