Review #10: Overall this was not a bad cigar but the draw was a little bit too tight for my liking. The smoke was surprisingly thick from this little cigar. The one thing I did find to my liking though was the flavor, creamy with hints of coffee and some nutty flavor as well. This was definately not one of my favorite cuban cigars. - Submitted by Tanman on August 10, 2005

Review #9: One was sampled with an unclear outcome. Initial harshness and bland flavors up to the midpoint, then it tried to develop into something else but unfortunately fell short of a magical transformation. It seems that the tobaccos used weren't up to par. It did burn correctly and draw well. Not worth the money though - this was part of a large sampling campaign of low end Cuban ropes - the result is, if you go to town, go big or stay at home. In its price class, it gets slaughtered by the American competition. - Submitted by Stacks Overflow on February 7, 2005

Review #8: As I write this I am still tasting the finish of this nice little cigar. Smooth wrapper, nice construction, very nice burn. Fills the pallet with more smoke than one would expect from this little guy, nice draw. Some Cuban earthy tones, a bit nutty and some coffee w/cream notes. I'm not a small cigar smoker, but this little smoke goes down nice before dinner. For a great cigar in this format try the Dominican Ashton VSG Tres Petite. - Submitted by Max on December 22, 2004Submitted by Max on December 22, 2004

Review #7: Hmmm changed my mind on this one. I have tried so many more havana cigars since my last review and I recently tried another of these from a very nice EMS box dated Jan '03, even had some bloom on them. After lunch, what I thought would be a perfect moment for one. Was very bland and had little flavour, even reminded me of Hamlet cigars in the flavour which I detest in Havanas because I don't want expensive hand-rolled cigars reminding me of some machine made rubbish basically. Became hot halfway through, but I smoke slowly and managed to keep it tasting alright to the last inch or so. Very much a beginners cigar. I have only been smoking havanas for about 2 years or so and even I wouldnt want one of these early in the day, I'd much prefer a Trinidad Reyes or Montecristo No.5. - Submitted by A. Review #6: Not a very good cigar. The first half of the cigar tasted very bland and the draw was way too tight. That really spoilt the smoke for me and I was almost tempted to abandon it early on. However the last third of the cigar seemed much better as I could detect a nice creamy flavour. Still though, I wouldn't recommend them. - Submitted by Graham on November 27, 2004
