H. Upmann Connoisseur No. 1 Review:
This cigar has two different faces. As it has been always underrated, it may have been because this special smoke needs years of ageing to develop its real qualities. Very mild and bland when new, but after a process of at least four years maturing, superb herbal flavours arise in great balance with medium tobacco taste.

Review #33: NOV 06 Deserves the name. Medium body and strength with full and balanced Cuban flavours. A beautifully constructed 45 minutes smoke, may take an hour if you do not bother burning your finger and lips (I don’t). My favourite in the Upmann line. Recommended. - Submitted by alperyx on June 14, 2008
Review #32: I think this cigar and the MAG.46 are my go to cigars for after dinner smokes...That Upmann flavor and spice is so strong in each one. This is compared to the Siglo 4 and the Bolivar Belicosos Finos. - Submitted by johnnysmoke on April 9, 2008
Review #31: A good solid cigar, I thought that the first third was a bit flat, weak and uneventful but it got better as it wnet along. The burn wasnt very good though, I had to relight this cigar 5 or 6 times, not a problem I have had with other cigars.
All in all it was an enjoyable smoke but dont reserve it for a special occasion or you will be dissapointed.
This cigar does need to be aged before being smoked to allow the flavour to develop - Submitted by james525 on March 8, 2008
Review #30: Real nice cigar. Burns well and has a nice aroma to it. Lasted a good 45 minutes. - Submitted by nnjlon2 on January 27, 2008
Review #29: Great smoke. I find it medium to full bodied and intriguing. I don't see why this is viewed as a mild stick at all. Though a long rest is suggested, I enjoy them at 1 year. Not bland or mild, but full of woody and herbal smoky goodness. - Submitted by traded on January 16, 2008
