A cabinet from '02 or so finally bit the dust and the thought of having NO Partagas Shorts in the 'dor was frightening!! Tonight I lit the second-to-last one and it was just delightful. ON THE DRY PULL GREEN BELL PEPPERB & THE NUTTIER SIDE OF PINE NUTS' NOT PINE CONEISH MIND YOU.NUTTY. i AM PAIRING IT WITH A HOME MADE CAPPUCINO WITH COFFEE FROM BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE CO.PRESSED HARD W/ THREE SMALL T'S OF SUGAR. HOLD UP i'LL BE RIGHT BACK......OKAY SO UPON LIGHTING, THE OILS PEEL BACK THE WRAPPER EVER SO SLIGHTLY TO CREATE A THIN SHIMMERING BURN LINE, BLOWN THROUGH THE NOSE THE IMMEDIATE HIT IS SADDLE LEATHER AND CAYENNE THEN LIGHT BARBEQUE SPICE FOR THE FIRST THIRD, A HINT THOUGH. SECOND THIRD SHE TURNS AND REVEALS CRISPY NINE GRAIN BUTTERED TOAST BUT THE PEPPER IS STILL PRESENT BUT IT'S MORE LIKE BLACK PEPPER NOW.AT THE LAST IS THAT CLASSIC PARTAGA CREAM AND TOAST WITH AN UNDERLAYMENT OF SPICE....NICE!!! IT'S A GREAT INTRO TO PARTAGA AND AS FAR AS MINUTO'S GO, WELL CONSTRUCTED, NOT UNDERFILLED,GOOD VOLUME OF SMOKE.. AND UMMM... Este es un gran pequeño cigarro, nunca queda mal. La construcción generalmente es bastante buena, generalmente tendiendo a tiros más firmes que en otras vitolas (y esto es común a otros "minutos"), la fumada es muy a lo Partagás, con fortaleza de media a grande, pero que resulta muy disfrutable si se dejan añejar por 3 años o más, sabores y aromas predominantes: maderas, tabaco tostado, azúcar de caña y cuero. En mi opinión, mano a mano en lo mejor de su tamaño con el Bolivar Coronas Junior. - Submitted by eeq71 on March 4, 2008
