Review #104: NOV 06 Decided to have a short with my morning espresso from my 06 box. Haven't had one for about six months. Some of the roughness and sharp pepper has tamed down which allows you to savor the richness that these little fellows have. Since 06 cigars are the oldest cigars I am experienced with, I am only now seeing how well they develop. Prior to that I use to buy cubans in the islands when I was a non-cuban smoker and wonder what people saw in cubans, they would be coarse, one-dimensional, with no real palatable flavors. Yes, they were authentic, but I finally took notice of the box dates and realized that some of the shops just take a fairly new vintage box and open it up to sell for singles, never understanding or caring that they need to be aged. Once I became educated to that, thanks to this site, I've been able to buy cubans like this wonderful minuto and let them come in to their own, not unlike a wine that needs to be bottle aged properly. This short has the vanilla, spice, woodsiness, and a little pepper(mostly in the last third)that makes it a great smoke, glad that I bought them - Submitted by birage on December 20, 2008

Review #103: JUL 07 I bought a box month ago from webshop. Cigars had to rest because they were dryed. But I couldnt wait and after week started smoke. The first was very strong for me. After month they become better and better, but construction of some cigars in this box are not good. - Submitted by 9911166 on November 23, 2008

Review #102: FEB 07 I purchased a box of them about 4 months ago. I absolutely love this cigar. It is my favourite cigar pre-dinner or when I dont have enough time for a long smoke, or after a nice Sunday bbq. as mentioned by many aficionados here, lots of chocolate, coffee and honey, also some nutts. I really love this cigar! Partagas you've done it again. - Submitted by maalouly on November 5, 2008

Review #101: APR 08 This is my second box of these tasty lil smokes; the first was a cab of 50 last year (07). Needless to say, they didnt last long. I like to smoke smaller vitolas during the colder months, and the party shorts are perfect. This latest box is good and smokeable right out of the box. I am grateful that it isnt necessary to age them in order to get tasty, well balanced, complex smoking pleasure. They are well made, and have a reliable darw and burn. The smell sooo good before lighting, and once lit, they excel with flavors of spice; caramel, vanilla, twang and sweet tobacco flavor. Hmmm, I wonder what an aged party would taste like? I guess I will never know. They are a great lil cigar on a cold night or afternoon, and compliment and good stout or hot toddy. - Submitted by DonP on November 4, 2008

Review #100: APR 08 I bought a box of these a little bit prematurely (as its only October), thinking that I'd smoke them through the winter. Needless to say I had to smoke one now. This is a great little after work cigar for those of us who like a smoke with a little bit of a kick. Sweet, salty, spicy, a little nutty, its got everything I could ask for, just in a very small package. 20-30 minutes of pure enjoyment, and it has no age to it at all! Its actually more complex than I thought it would be. I'm confident that its strong enough to still deliver flavor on a cold winter's day. - Submitted by Goldenberg on October 14, 2008
