Partagas Serie du Connaisseur No 1 Review:

This is a royal selection cigar that demonstrates to us that new generation cigars can be extremely high quality. Balanced taste and aroma as expected from this brand.

Review #35: MAY 98 I reviewed this cigar from my 98 box (sorry I said in review #33 it was 99). As before a truly impeccable smoke..fruit, spices, cinnamon, with an underlying leather and pepper. The cigar progresses beautifully with an impeccable burn. The wrapper was a little ugly in spots, but what a classic smoke...had with Havana Club Maestros.... - Submitted by bucketlist on June 30, 2018

Review #34: JUN 99 Crazy good cigar... All of my 1999 boxes have been stellar (as I see with all the other 99 reviews here) Old style partagas taste, very creamy, white pepper on the retro hale and sweeter than the earlier years... If you can find the 99's... grab them. - Submitted by nightdiver on June 9, 2017

Review #33: I smoked one from my 1999 box...just an exceptional cigar from start to finish. Honey, caramel, sandalwood in rapid succession. Never harsh or bitter with an impeccable burn. What a classic with nice port in hand. - Submitted by bucketlist on August 2, 2015

Review #32: --- 97 I was fortunate enough to get a cabinet of 25 from 1997. Fabulous cigar from start to finish. Even though they were almost 16 years old they still retained that Partagas spice and white pepper taste along with a smooth sweet creaminess. like all cigars the more moist and humid the cigar the less flavor you get I found that this cigar really comes to life if dry boxed (ie take out the humidor a day before you smoke if they are very soft) - Submitted by Ahmedjadail on March 21, 2013

Review #31: JUN 99 Amazing cigar is not the description one is looking for, astounding is more like it - with true old Partagas flavors of toast and spice - simply brilliant. - Submitted by BonVivant on March 29, 2012
