Review #251: Just had my first D4. It's been sitting in my humidor for a year and I've been dying to try it. Read lots of reviews about the strength of this cigar so I wasn't sure what to expect. Only been smoking cigars for a couple of years so my palate isn't experienced enough to break down the abundance of flavors, but definitely some spice in the beginning and the end with a lot of creaminess throughout. Volumes of smoke and an easy draw. I was able to exhale through the nose without any harshness at all. Quite a few touchups on the burn, but it didn't alter the flavor. I paired the stick with an ounce of courvoisier vsop. The strength of the D4 brought out the sweetness of the cognac. What a great pairing! Noticed some heat at the end of the cigar but none of the bitterness that often comes with it. I don't usually nub a cigar but I couldn't put this one down. One of the best smokes I've had along with Magnum 64 and Cohiba Genios. A great robusto! - Submitted by Art Vandelay on May 3, 2009

Review #249: Just had my first one - in Cuba - last week. Excellent construction, had a nice consistent burn. Pre-draw aromas were excellent, and the strong tasty flavors were perfect (including some nice hints of green pepper towards the middle). Had a couple issues with it going out on me, but it's possible it was still a little wet. Can't wait to try another. - Submitted by ElCanuck on April 8, 2009

Review #248: This has to be one of the best Cubans I have ever tasted regardless of size. It is pure heaven.I have had more than 6 brands of Cuban cigars and this is at the top! Very leathery, cocoa coffee-like. The flavor even tops the R&J Short Churchill and Bolivar Belicoso. Its My favorite Cuban to date, however the Bolivar Corona Gigante is up next. I think its gonna be a death-match!!! - Submitted by putnameter on April 1, 2009

- Submitted by cipu on March 23, 2009
