Review #356: OCT 19 UAO code (El Laguito factory) - I gave up on these a few years back - way too many that tasted like chemicals & poison :) ... but this box brought me back as a fan. The perfect smoke after a spicy dinner - Submitted by rascalbadmonkey on March 7, 2020

Review #355: The quintessential Robusto. Rich and earthy with distinctive spice flavors that become even more prominent after a couple of years in a humidor. Ageing seems to reveal nutmeg and clove aromas. Simply outstanding - Submitted by Pablo Ocambo on December 22, 2019

Review #354: The D No.4 truly serves as a paradigm of an exemplary Robusto. It burns slowly and evenly with a firm but not troublesome draw. While pepper and wood characterize the flavour some floral and botanical qualities are detectable as well. Ageing definitely enhances the complexity, with other spices such as clove or nutmeg becoming prominent. - Submitted by Pablo Ocambo on October 29, 2019

Review #353: OCT 14 The latest sampling from Oct '14. It's true that The D4 doesn't really NEED any more time than it takes to acclimate to your personal storage in order for it to be a great smoke. That being said, it's also true that with age they can be stunningly good! Heavy cedar on the opening of this example with a perfectly balanced white pepper on the retrohale. Developing sweet spices, woods, cream and a floral note as the smoke progresses. I don't want to repeat too much of previous eulogies but this much I will say again, when The D4 is well constructed and blended correctly from top quality tobacco, there is no finer cigar coming out of Cuba, including the plethora of overdressed, overpriced and frankly, often overrated limited productions. - Submitted by Vortigan on June 18, 2019

Review #352: JUL 18 This was amongst some cigars purchased at a stopover in Vienna Airport’s duty free store. On the way to Iran from a recent visit to US. One of those cigars that you know would be great from the very first puff. Even in the first quarter. Given you are supposed to smoke a cigar until and just before it reaches the band. According to Cuban Habanos chain stores catalogue. The second quarter and the third quarter picked up more flavors. With the great aroma and the nic-hit Partagas cigars are known for. Box date July, 2018! All the best. Hamid, from Tehran. - Submitted by hrgerami@hotmail.com on June 14, 2019
