Review #156: Absolutely amazing how many reviews on this cigar. Í used to like them very much, having smoked about six boxes over the last four years, in three different countries, but their complete inconsistency and degraded quality, especially the wrapper, over the last year and a half have put me off of them forever. If in one box (even after humidor 75% for over a month) you have to stop smoking half becuase of bitterness and the wrapper falling apart, then adios. Handpicking them based on storage and wrapper integrity has allowed more pleasant smokes, but not allways. No one else considers them inconsistant? - Submitted by eirikr on April 23, 2007
Review #155: This is an amazing smoke. I like the RASS too, but the PSD4 is totally Partagas. This cigar burns so evenly and is consistently flavourful. It is one of the best Robustos out there and is very reasonably priced when ordered by the box. This stick definitely gets better with age. - Submitted by cookj1 on April 17, 2007

I know it is hasty to review a cigar from just one try, but I also make it a point to notify the reader of this. All in all, my current reviews should be considered to be observations from one try unless stated otherwise, and in general rather young cigars.
I don't know just how much the PSD4 improves with age (or cigars in general), but as it was I didn't like it very much. I had a RyJ Short Churchill that was definitely very young, but already a fantastic smoke, for example.
Also, I'm not married. Still a poor student ;) At least I can notify a potential girlfriend of my unyielding affection for cigars.
Currently I have plans for building a humidor myself, since my dad has a workshop with the proper tools. If I succeed, then maybe I can take the next step and do some proper aging on a couple of sticks.
