Review #165: Great burn and taste. Full bodied with notes of cedar, cream and black pepper. A definite try. - Submitted by eneerg on June 6, 2007
Review #164: The success of this cigar belongs to its ability to combine the cool, round smoke of the robusto size with the very intense flavour profile, common in smaller ring sized cigars..Is a robusto with it's own character,a real powerhouse.Every puff is different, very complex taste of all the great flavors cuban cigars are famous for. Near the end i often notice a taste i cant recognize yet, reminds me of something "sweet red"
A real winner - Submitted by nikolaros on June 1, 2007
Review #163: This is one great cigar! Started out mild, creamy, and spicy. As the smoke went on it got richer and the flavors became more complex with an oakiness, and that great Cuban tobacco taste. At the last third it just got fuller and fuller until I burned my fingers. The wrapper looked fabulous, smooth and red-brown. This is what cigars were meant to be! - Submitted by Arnie on May 17, 2007
Review #162: Terrific!
I picked up a box with the plan of letting them age. These were about as young a cigar as I have seen, the box was dated "Mar 07." And contrary to my usual plan, I just could not wait to let a few wait when I saw the smooth, perfect wrapper.
They started out mild, with LOTS of flavorful smoke, so much that I could have almost set up a smoke screen to avoid pursuit. A little uneven burn worked itself out by the half way point, would probably have been no issue if I had waited for them to stabilize in the humi. A slight sweetness built to complex flavors by the second half. Nice, grey ash was tight, growing to over 1.5 inch, I only had to ash it twice. I'm sure these will age wonderfully, as per the plan, if I can wait and stay away. If not, it's all good! - Submitted by BiggDawg on May 10, 2007
