Review #23: Bought a couple of boxes (AGL FEB 06) of the PC Especiales. A real nice smoke with lots of the characteristic Partagas flavors. My favorite of the Marevas - very affordable too. Highly recommended. - Submitted by offduty69 on June 29, 2006
Review #22: If there is a better Petit Corona on the Cuban market, I haven't as yet smoked it. Marvelous construction, great taste and burn. - Submitted by paulm on May 8, 2006
Review #21: JUST SMOKED A PC FROM A CABINET OF 50 BOX CODE, CVA NOV 01, WHAT A CLASSIC PARTAGAS. THE EVER INTOXICATING AND ELUSIVE TRADEMARK PARTAGAS FLAVORS ARE THE MAINSTAY, THE TOBACCO IS SO WELL AGED THAT THERE IS NO AMONIA AT ALL. THE MOST INTOXICATING AND DECADENT CHOCOLATE AND ESPRESSO FLAVORS DOMINATE THE EXPERIENCE, ADD TO THAT A TINGE OF VANILLA BEAN STRIPPED FROM THE STOCK AND YOU ARE IN HEAVEN. I CANT FIND ANY MORE OF THESE CABS ANYWHERE, MY MAN IN HONGKONG TELLS ME HABANOS HAS DISCONTINUED THIS PC IN THE CABS OF 50 AND ARE PRODUCING THE PETITE CORONA ESPECIAL , ONLY IN DRESSED BOXES OF 25. I PURCHASED 10 BOXES FROM FPG JAN 04 PRODUCTION RUNS, THEY ARE VERY OILY AND DARK ALMOST MADURO, HOWEVER THE WRAPPERS ARE VERY THIN AND PERFECT, OILY, DARK, AND WITH OUT VEINS OF BLEMISHES. THE FLAVORS ARE TRADEMARK PARTAGAS ALL THE WAY, THEY SORT OF REMIND ME OF THE ASTORIAS THAT I PURCHASED FROM SWITZERLAND FROM A 1998 PRODUCTION RUN, THESE ASTORIAS ARE A STORY ALL ON THEIR OWN. IF YOU CAN FIND ANY PC IN CABS OF 50 BUY ALL YOU CAN BUY. - Submitted by BIGYESTA on March 29, 2006
Review #20: Tea and honey flavors with an abundance of earth, and some liquorice.
Draw is good and the burn is good.
When they are on they are divine. - Submitted by planetbetter on November 12, 2005
Review #19: An amusing little smoke. Started off quite difficult to draw, but soon warmed up. Full flavour and plenty of warm woody Habana taste, but never overpowering or over-complex. Very sweet (molasses) in the final third. Had the smallest taste of ammonia as it\'s a 44 ring (the latest batch) and the others will be sitting in the humidor another 6 months for a brave stab at Petit Corona heaven. Slipped down a treat with the calvados from my holidays last year. - Submitted by XBO on August 5, 2005
