Review #76: What can I say describing this wonderful cigar? It is one of the greatest cuban I ever smoked, rich in aromas, well balanced with an optimum evolution. The cigar doesn't create any problem in burning, even at the last third. What a shade it's ended! - Submitted by mattiabasso on September 5, 2008

Review #75: i was handed one of these from an early 90's box i believe it was 1992...the cigar was slightly warped and the constuction was not the best but from the first puff was the best smoke i can remember having in the past few years..smooth as an aged cigar should have but spicy and rich as a partagas can be expected..wonderful highest praise and a great smoking experience after a great meal at the palm steakhouse in new york city..a perfect 10 on 100 point scale 95 due to to construction problems - Submitted by sause2112 on August 5, 2008

Review #74: --- 05 2005s are already great. Strong, well constructed, creamy but very peppery, becoming nutty and sweet-ish to the end. Very nice! - Submitted by Hercule Poirot on June 22, 2008

Review #73: MAR 03 I spent the weekend in Barcelona a few weeks ago and payed a vist to the famous Gimeno cigar shop. Aftwer showing an interest in buying a box of 25 I was shown downstairs to the large underground 'walk in' humidor. This experience in itself is heaven for an cigar fan as you are faced with hundreds of boxes of Cuban cigars. I was keen to buy a box of 'aged' cigars and looked through all my favorite brands until I came across this box of MAR 03 898's. I have always enjoyed this smoke for its sheer complexity and strength but was not so impressed with the price. With the euro so strong against the pound the box cost me 205 but bought them knowing how difficult it can be to get aged cigars nowadays. Anyway, what an amazing box so far. I have smoked 3 so far and they have all been superb. They have all smoked evenly and tasted just as I would have hoped for;lots of thick Partagas earthy, spicyness with a slight sweetness developing as the cigar smoked into the second phase. I am now torn whether I prefer these to the Serie PN2 which I also have in my humidor but I find them a different smoking experience. The Dalia in my opinion is very much an indoor smoke after a big dinner which can get blown away a bit when outdoors. The Serie P delivers more smoke with its bigger gauge, perhaps for an outdoor post BBQ.I love them both. - Submitted by cjarman on May 29, 2008

Review #72: Nice smoke from partagas. Maybe smoked it to fast after a copieus meal, first third was ok, second was great, third powerfull. I like partagas (best serie D n1). But with all those great cigars on the market and the nearby launch of a regular magnum 50 & Epicure especial, the new limited editions with a monte sublime, cuaba piramide and partagas (yes) petit robusto mmmjam mjam, sadly no box of 898 in the close future will be purchased... to be continued - Submitted by Yapi on April 27, 2008
