Review #106: Just finished my first and was totally blown away! This was a 5 year aged and you can tell that it needs its aging considering the strength but now it delivers magic! Excellent constuction, rich flavors, thick smoke and beautiful sweetness to it! Loved this one - Submitted by sebbe1978 on July 2, 2015

Review #105: JUN 13 Smoked a couple straight out of the box and they were pretty good, not spectacular. The next few appear to have gone into hibernation. Real curious to see when they return, hopefully in a big way! - Submitted by KimweeKim on May 5, 2015

Review #104: --- 14 Really all I can say is Partagas at her best. Red hued wrapper. Opens with a kick of spice for a couple of puffs. Retro delivers intense cedar. Salt flavor comes in and out on multiple puffs. 2nd third is cedar and a sweetness on the retro, a nice creamy texture to the thick smoke output. Salt returns with honey sweetness on retro accompanied by a woody flavor, and cocoa. Last third has a unique chocolate flavor, and salt that was muted by the cigars youth. Med/ full body.Very co p!ex stick. Great construction, burn ect. What a stick. Great smoke young. With age sky is the limit. - Submitted by PuroPhene on April 9, 2015

Review #103: APR 08 Smoked one recently on my birthday. one of my special occasion smokes. Full flaved, medium-full bodied. Velvety mouth feel. Smoking too fast or drawing too hard alters the experience for me. Not as sharp as the D4, more of a darker, bolder cocoa and coffee bean base with toffee notes. To me, it is the Ardbeg of cigars. - Submitted by Leaflover on October 25, 2013

Review #102: DEC 09 Just got a box while on a trip to Havana, ERO DIC09. Great tobacco. 8-9-8 has never disappointed, this aged box or any other I had in the past, good construction and even burn. The cigars are medium-towards full body. Complex and intense flavors, earthiness, vanilla, cocoa, spice and some sweetness. Enjoyable cigars from beginning to end. Defiantly look out for aged batches or keep younger boxes for aging potential. - Submitted by dimi681 on January 13, 2013
