Its taste is floral, herbaceous, sweet and elegant. The weak ppoint may be that it ages not very well. The minimum recommended ageing for this cigar is at least 3 years. Strength 2/5.

OCT 08 This is an excellent mild cigar, with a distinct floral flavour and enticing aroma. Their only drawback is inconsistency. Sometimes excellent in burn, other times almost impossible to smoke due to tight draw. However, in recent years this has improved considerable. An excellent cigar for late afternoon, or when time is of the essence, it has one of the best quality to value ratio I can remember. DEC 08 Great Cigar! I have an '08 box; had two from the box-thus far. It has an exception draw. Straight and very smooth tobacco taste, emphasis on smooth. This a medium-mild smoke. This Panetelas Extra is a keeper. Great choice for the time-crunched and short-on-cash person. They remind me of the cigars Clint Eastwood smoked in his spaghetti westerns.
