El Rey del Mundo Grandes de Espana Review:
The taste of this cigar can be defined as subtle and elegant. It gets better when properly aged, but the result of an excessive period of maturing may be a too bland cigar, so be careful with that. Many smokers agree that the only problem with this cigar is that it requires a quite sophisticated palate to be fully appreciated.

Excelente combustion. - Submitted by rafa on April 5, 2008
Review #11: a phenominal cigar if you can get 1 to draw. The last 2 boxes I had were able to be used as tent stakes.
would stick with newer production - Submitted by habanohal on June 1, 2007
Review #10: Tough to give this cigar a great rating considering the draw was non-existent to begin with. Once the attendant at Baranows in Melbourne gave it a judicious poke with a steel spike she opened up nicely and i got a great mouthful of cedar and honey. Now these were quite mature with a good deal of bloom on them and Wal had pointed out that the brand was becoming less well known with time - hence their age in his 'dor. Unlit, this elegant, long cubano exuded class and, after the drama with the draw, displayed a depth of flavour and complex character more in keeping with the thicker gauges. I did not get the clouds of smoke as some reviewers did, but i got the strength over a full 90 minutes. My final verdict? A great poker night cigar for when everyone else is pulling out churchills and robustos, this will stand you out as being cut from a different cloth. - Submitted by Uncle on February 11, 2007
Review #9: indeed a shame... still, have no news about stopping the production; however, if it's true, I'll buy a couple of boxes to age, smoked already 8 from my 2002-box, they never seem to disappoint!!! Perfect draw, taste and feeling... indeed, feeling, if I light one of these up, I know I'm in for a treat, and it feels great!!! - Submitted by Yapi on October 26, 2006
Review #8: This is an absolutely gorgeous smoke... In a cigar world where power an strength really seem to be "in", finding such a refined, complex, delicate cigar is a great experience... Medium bodied, a lot of creamy coffee notes, just enough spice (pepper and cinnammon like I had never seem in a smoke before...) really make this piece a classy and complex smoke... I give it a solid 91 and recommenc that you leave your Cohibas and Partagas in the humidor one of those nights to try this pearl... I heard tough that they had stopped production... Anybody aware of that too?? That would be a shame... - Submitted by Smokin\' Phil on October 16, 2006Submitted by Smokin' Phil on October 16, 2006
