Review #133: MAR 13 Absolutely the WORST draw of an CC I have ever had. Had TWO from the same box that I bought from LCDH distributor and enjoyed the way they smelled, felt and looked. First one I smoked about 3 months ago I had to use a homemade draw tool I created simply for this one cigar...never expected to have to use it again. The first stick had a touch of "the sickness", really harsh and incredibly hard to smoke even after being "opened up". Tonight I decided that I'd try the second one...and I swear to God it was 2X as tight as the first. Draw tool caused the sides to crack in THREE PLACES before it even made it halfway through. I did light it and I TRUED to smoke it but it was as "sick" as the first...really bad ammonia even after 3 months in my smalll Savoy humi at 67% -68 deg. Just can NOT recommend this stick at all. - Submitted by Old Soldier on July 18, 2017

Review #132: ---   Just finished smoking an ERDM Choix Supreme with 8 years old. I can now assert that there are two kinds of ERDM: the aged ones and the new ones. In the new ones, you have a mild smoke with some low (though pleasant) flavour. An aged ERDM is a wholhe different cigar - on an aged ERDM (more than 4 years old, preferably), you get very intense, refined and ultra-elegant smoke - but still light, as far as strenght is concerned. You really understand why these cigars were originally named "king of the world". Perfect, perfect, perfect !!! Oh, and also they can mature for ages (with 12-15 years old, I bet they will still be kicking) !!! - Submitted by Heinrich on May 28, 2017

Review #131: The third of these Choix Supreme I had was 1 year older than the first two and that ageing clearly made a difference. It is now a perfect 9 - absolutely amazing elegant and tasty smoke. Wow !!! - Submitted by Heinrich on October 16, 2016

Review #130: This is a very elegant, slightly sweet cigar. The flavours are light, but very interesting. Seems to have ageeing potential, as all ERDM are known to have. For the first two of these I smoked, it's a 7, nearly 8. After one year on the humidor, hope the next one to be a perfect 8. - Submitted by Heinrich on October 4, 2016

Review #129: SEP 07 Perfect draw and burn. Hazelnuts, walnuts, furniture polish and citrus peel. The tanginess increases as I get deeper into the smoke, and the whole of it doesn't feel quite as put together. However, the flavors are persistent, and there is great shape to the finish. Although this cigar is more bitter than it is sweet, it delivers an altogether pleasant experience. However, I don't plan to touch one for another few years. They have not quite come together yet. Consistent with what I've read, ERDM could be one of the most age-worthy cigars in the world. The Tainos that are garnering huge scores are in the 10-15 year age range, so I would expect these stronger smokes to need at least that long. - Submitted by mjmmm on April 22, 2016
