Review #74: One of the first cuban smokes I had, and it was the one that got me seriously thinking about taking up cigars since I usually hated the idea of smoking. Creamy, and most definetly burnt honey/toffee. Really could not believe the flavour, so I bought a box of 25. This is where I became disappointed. The inconsistency within the box was incredible. From great to crap smoke. From cool burnt creamy honey to dry and hot bland taste. Think the box needed to age more overall, but I was ignorant back then and ended up just smoking them with mates. Great when good and terrible other times. Worth trying though! - Submitted by dragar on August 1, 2007
Review #73: Cedar, leather, earth and vanilla eventually marry to produce sweet cream and orange zest. The construction is excellent and consistent - I had only one slightly plugged from my box (Sept 05)and that revived itself half way down. It tastes like a delicious hybrid of a Monte and the HDM epicure and better than either because of it. Perfect with a bottle of Albarino or Gavi. - Submitted by CastroGTX on July 12, 2007
Review #72: Superb. Finally cracked open my 50 cab from Feb '02 and well worth the wait. Predominant flavours were honey and vanilla, with few if any of the heavier, earthy notes that others have noticed. An absolute delight. - Submitted by Philski on July 11, 2007
Review #71: Lit one of these up on Canada day only to be slightly disappointd. The date on my box was may 06 and while I admit that this is not enough age many cigars with little age on them still smoke great. My biggest problem with this one was the uneven burn which I am sure is the cause for the bland taste resulting from the improper combustion of the leaves. I will however, let these hermosos age for a couple years, judging from other reviews these are supposed to be great so maybe mine was just the odd one. - Submitted by Gillette on July 3, 2007
Review #70: Box date Mar '07, perfect construction, draw, and burn. Medium strength and great flavors with wonderful aromas. Highly recommended for a mild to medium smoke - Submitted by jpdunn on June 25, 2007
