Review #19: Although a bit small to be a true robusto, do not be fooled- THIS CIGAR IS NO SLOUCH. What a powerhouse. This cigar yield incredibly strong flavors of of coffee and spice. It was almost as if I was smoking a stick of colombian coffe beans. A beautifully dark, oily, wrapper. These cigars were quick to blossum in my humidor, although I wasted no time smoking them. Review #18: Totally underrated havana. These are mild for havanas, yes, so smoke them at lunchtime! If you smoke any mild cigar in the evening it appear tasteless. These are complex and delicious but you need a clean palatte. Smooth with a creamy coffee flavour, caramelly, cedary and beautiful. Smoke to the very nub and burn perfectly every time with a good draw thats just slightly tough, not like a straw (which I prefer). The last inch and a half or so becomes fuller in body also. - Submitted by A. Dyer on December 14, 2004
Review #17: Mild, one of the few cigars I enjoy without something to drink. Not overly complex, nor overly imposing, just a good cigar. - Submitted by peteando on November 6, 2004
Review #16: A great mid-day smoke with lots of honeyed tobacco flavor - very distinctive among Habanos. That is, when they are on. I've had more than a few that were really flat tasting. Sorry bgmc200, but my experience with the construction has also been hit or miss. My last box of 25 (from 2000 - was that significant?) had at least a half dozen that were too plugged to smoke. Would give this cigar a higher rating if they were more consistent. But I do love them when they are on. - Submitted by Snuka on October 30, 2004
Review #15: The one that I tried from a '00 box of 50 exhibited good burning qualities. But unfortunately that is the only good attribute I can detect. The strength was quite mild and I found the first 2/3 kind of ashy tasting. RyJ's offer is much better. - Submitted by tang on October 17, 2004
