JUN 08 I recently bought a box and smoked one within several days out of curiosity. I wasn't expecting much since there are so new; I wasn't disappointed. The flavors were muted and light. I detected just in the background all of those flavors that will one day be at the fore...but not on that day! The next day though, I smoked one of my few I had left from a box I bought in March 06, a much better experience! The burn was without problem, light and giving off plenty of rich smoke. I tasted cedar and honey in the first 3rd, and more cedar and honey with some spice in the second 3rd. The final 3rd was as if it was a crescendo. All of the good flavors, tastes and aromas came together nicely. The smoke from 08 I would evaluate as mild, the smoke from 06 was more medium to full. That final 3rd was exceptional! These are one of my favorite cigars, and when I am patient they live up to my expectations. Well worth a purchase but, know that it takes a little patience to get the most out of them. - Submitted by DonP on March 31, 2009
