Review #11: A fantastic cigar. Draw near perfect, flavor is never harsh, but full-flavored. Highly recommended - perfect compliment to single-malt.... - Submitted by Rich on November 9, 2004

Review #10: A review done by "thirds" of the cigar - 1/3: mellow with occational hint of very light spice and very light sweetness. 2/3: continues to be mellow with occational hint of very light spice. 3/3: still mellow with occational hint of light spice. Comments: flavour is very crisp but it is quite predictable and could be considered "boring". A “non-thinking” smoke. - Submitted by Deen on October 12, 2004

Review #9: Was never impressed with these, relativey speaking. Too many other pc's that merit a place in the humi. Used a box from 98 as road cigars, ones to smoke to get me home from work. Will not buy another box. - Submitted by The Rooster on September 17, 2004

Review #8: i will give this cigar a 4 star rating. the cigar came from a box dated 2002 but remember the box is not a humidor and no matter what the humidity is out side the box it still will not age as if had been in a properly humidified humador! having said all that, i did enjoy the cigar. i am a little more forgiving these days as far as ratings go. in general all cuban products have dropped a notch or two in quality. some more than others. i had purchased a box of montecristos no.4 along with these diplos. big big difference between the two. not better or worse just different. i did not like the diplos at first. As i read from other reviews,it did have a cetain bite and harshness to it. sometimes you have to give a smoke a chance. i mean you have to find what the blend of tobaccos is tring to do. i remember when i was a younger man and smoked some tobacco (or herb if you like). it came in a small baggie-if you catch my drift. i didn't like it at first and didn't get what it was tring to do. i finaly caught on. i don't smoke that leaf anymore since i found cuban tobacco. iam left with that experiance and have learnt that if you judge to quickly you maybe excluding a great ex- periance by judging to fast. the diplo- matico no. 4 did take some time to dis cover what its particular blend was try ing to do. its a geat cigar to have in your humidor.it grabs your attention right away with that bite and cuban twang. its was also a fun smoke with deep flavors and spice. its all there for you to discover . be prepared to clean your palate with some new sensations. 9-17-2004 - Submitted by havana dave on September 17, 2004

Review #7: I had a colleague pick up a box of cigars for me, and she failed to get my requested and beloved Romeo y Julietas. Instead I got these. I just smoked my first Diplomatico 4 and found it to be harsh, bitter, sharp, loose and unsatisfying. In a word-garbage. What to do now with the other 24... - Submitted by Marc on August 9, 2004
