Review #46: MAR 08 I have always been a big fan of the Dip.#2, but I must say that the #4 is just as good if not better. The flavors throughout the cigar was amazing and it burned even from the start. What was Habanos,SA thinking when they decided to discontinue this cigar. - Submitted by LOMNHERNANDEZ on July 19, 2010

Review #45: APR 98 Found this box in Cuba in '97, and this was my sixth smoke from it. All have been consistant. They are so well balanced that I am trying to hold off, hoping to keep at least a few until they reach 20+ years. This one had good weight, and felt dense and even. No hard or soft spots. Clipped, the draw was perfect, and the cigar burnt slowly and evenly, keeping a perfect ember. The taste was a lovely balance of sweet and savoury, rich and deep, still somewhat tannic despite it's age. Kind of like a caramel and nut chocolate, chased with a bitter ale. Very complex, with tightly woven flavours that had to be coaxed out by gentle smoking. Body and strength were both medium-full. A cigar to smoke when one has a good hour plus, with no distractions but a wandering mind. Probably the most satisfying smoke I've had in months. - Submitted by MontrealRon on July 9, 2010

Review #44: SEP 08 I simply can't believe that this stick has been discontinued. I smoked one yesterday for my 20th wedding aniversary and what a smoke!!! Cocoa, leather, and cinnamon was present throughout. Great even burn and only ashed twice. Great smoke 93 rating in my book - Submitted by IMARK on April 27, 2010

Review #43: ---   Smoked a single not so long ago and I remember a wonderful fragrant smoke. Not earth and chocolate like a Monte#4, but complex darjeeling tea and leather. So got myself a box, which I have resisted opening so far. Reputed to have much better construction than the larger volume brands (MC#4 case in point!!). And yet this is on Habanos discontinued list for 2010 - along with many other of the best thinner gauge cigars (Gloria no1s, the Whole Partagas serie du Connaisseur etc). PROTEST against this TRAVESTY! Write in to habanos and voice your displeasure! - Submitted by frenchkiwi on March 3, 2010

Review #42: FEB 08 Toasty, woody flavor with sweetness of honey, slight burn on retrohale that reminds you that you are smoking premium cuban tobacco. Not a monte 2 or a serie d, but a dam good cigar in its own right. A wonderful blend. A must-have for sure. - Submitted by Leaflover on March 2, 2010
