AUG 01 A classic corona, with a distinguished taste of H.Upmann of old and lost for decades, Sweet dough with a touch of earth and plenty of roasted nuts, predominantly Almonds. Τα λίγα πούρα που έχουν φτιάξει οι Diplomaticos, (μαζί και τα discontinued), είναι γενικά όλα καλά. Έχουν μια χαρακτηριστική ταυτότητα και ένα επίπεδο σταθερά ποιοτικό. Αυτή η disc. από το 2006 κορώνα, ρίχνει νομίζω λίγο το μέσο όρο, δίχως να ‘ναι ένα κακό πούρο. Ευχάριστη και ήπια, ιδιαίτερα χορτώδης με μια σταθερή κρεμώδη υφή, αλλά αυτό είναι όλο. Δεν κλωτσάει, δε βγάζει γλώσσα. Ναι, είναι λίγο βαρετή. Ακόμα και το τελευταίο 3ο μένει στο ίδιο μοτίβο. Λίγα μοσχοκάρυδα κάτι πάνε να φτιάξουν αλλά είναι πολύ, μα πολύ ανεπαίσθητα και ασθενικά. Και αυτό είν’ όλο. Μια στρογγυλή και flat κορώνα, που έζησε μια ήσυχη, συνηθισμένη ζωή. Θεός σχωρέστην. - Submitted by cipu on July 1, 2009

FEB 06 I'm better then half way through a box I picked up about a year back and every stick has been great. Construction, burn, flavors of nuts, mild sweet spice and a hint of carmel about midway. I will pick another box or two to have a great afternoon patio cigar on hand that really hasn't any faults. Why HSA dropped so many coronas in 06 still boggles my mind. - Submitted by randallp on October 8, 2008
