Review #43: I smoked a couple of these and enjoyed the flavor, spice and draw. Its a good cigar but I prefer the H. Upman #2 hands down. The Diplomatico is not as smooth as the H. Upman and not as spicy as a well aged Monte #2. If your palate prefers something in between, this cigar is for you. - Submitted by Kathleen on May 4, 2006
Review #42: This is a great piramide. I feel this brand is overlooked and under-rated in general. Afer smoking many Diplo#2 , and having smoked my fair share of MC#2, Upmann#2, and Partagas S-P#2, I can honestly say this is the best (along with the S-P#2). I guess it's a matter of taste, but I can't understand how anyone could prefer a MC#2 over this cigar-- For me there is simply no comparison. Great volume of smoke, nice draw, and that Diplomaticos spicy flavor I've grown to adore. I can't get enough of this smoke! - Submitted by newbie on April 18, 2006
Review #41: Every once in awhile I reach for one of these. Not as strong as most Cubans I smoke but still a nice even burning, long lasting satisfing smoke. You can't go wrong with these. - Submitted by jlcccm on March 21, 2006
Review #40: This is such a great cigar. A few I smoked year's ago must have been going through a "sick period" and I bad-mouthed them somewhat. Well, I'm here to say--it's a winner and I'll always keep them in stock. Lighter bodied than its famous counterpart--Monte 2, but a wonderful collage of flavors and creaminess that wins cigar lovers' hearts left and right. Don't smoke 'em all. - Submitted by Shooter on January 26, 2006
Review #39: This cigar has a future. It has a future in my mouth. The D2 is smooth, warm and well appreciated by my taste buds. I have a young 2005 box, but I had to try one. It is tannic, easy-to-like, companion cigar. With two years of age, I bet this will be a classic smoke. How sweet it is... - Submitted by HUC on December 23, 2005
