Review #19: Smoking the Siglo VI as I write this; leaving the taste for last, construction is is a little uneven, not a smooth straight cigar, appearence is bumpy but looking in at the harmonious rolling technique after cutting: the best I've ever seen. Wrapper is thin and tends to flake, even after some time in a proper humidor. I took good care to light the cigar evenly, rotating and using a standard lighter not a turbo flame but still burns unevenly also the cap does not hang around very long. Taste: the only coffee I can find is in the double (illy)espresso I just made to have with it. Cedar taste is overwhelming (not from my humidor thank you!) Seems I am in the minority but for my money Esplendido is still the way to go for Cohiba. - Submitted by Eric Fischer on May 18, 2004

Review #18: This is HOLY GRAIL of habanos. Nice size... just a tad thicker (more ligero leaves) and longer (more time to enjoy) than the robusto. Cannot compare to any other formats/brands (except for the Edmundo, which I have not tried yet). Easier draw than a robuusto (guillotine cut), but more smoke than a pyramid (SigVI does not have a narrow opening a la torpedo monte 2). Very smoky and complex. I smoked about ten (15 more to go), and the flavours are too numerous to mention: starts off with hints of cedar, coffee, chocolate, beans, vanilla - Ends up with hints of pepper, darker chocolate, and sweet "cuban tobacco" ==> too damn complex for my virgin tongue and nose (8 years of smoking). It is quite expensive, take any means necessary to get your hands in this stick (bank loan, sell your items at a pawn shop) it is worth every penny in my (and your) pocket! - Submitted by ju1c3r on May 14, 2004

Review #17: Second best cigar I've had in the last 10 years! - Submitted by Tutty on May 3, 2004

Review #16: Had one the other night. Magnificent from start to finish. Beautiful construction and wonderful spicy taste. I love the new band. If the VI is great, can't wait to see what the VII will be like. - Submitted by BrianS on May 1, 2004

Review #15: Wonderful with tomato juice. It's a must smoke cigar, even thought the stick may be too humid. Two thumbs up!! not to smoke with a stomach empty - Submitted by Ericos de dios on March 24, 2004
