Review #164: Just had this famous and overated cigar. My point are the same with Review #156 and I totally agree with it. The nice thing about this cigar is the contruction of the cigar was neat and the aroma was fine. On the other hand, I'm having problem drawing it, might be to tightly rolled. I personaly think this cigar is very expensive. I don't think I will take it again unless being rewarded. I still think with this cigar value. There are some better ones out there. - Submitted by jimmy81 on September 27, 2008

Review #163: OCT 07 What a wonderful smoke. I was fortunate to procure a box of these recently from a much more reliable source than "somebody's brother in law from Miami." I've been smoking for 20 some years and its pretty exciting still for me to obtain a legit box of Habanos. The smell from the box was fantastic with that heady slight "barn yard" aroma that I've only experienced from a box of quality Cubans. The wrapper was oily, smooth and fine with very light veins. The smoking experience was excellent. The draw was a little tight as I have experienced with many Cubans... but I don't mind a slightly tighter draw so that was no issue for me. The cigar produced lot's of flowery, woody, carmelly-cream smoke that felt like it was melting in my mouth...mmm. The wonderful vanilla and light chocolate aromas and that cream taste -- again, in my experience -- only from a true Cuban, was spectacular. The ash held very well for the entirety of the smoke.. but I did need to touch up the burn a couple of times. The ash itself was a nice, charcoal grey with lighter lines that is tell-tale mark of the Vuelta Abajo leaf. When the ash did at last come off, the cone was evidence of an experienced roller. On the CA scale I'd give it a 91 or so... and I am looking forward to see how they age. I agree with Cookj1 in review #160. I wish it had been a longer cigar! Fantastic smoking experience. - Submitted by Mr. Shoo on September 23, 2008

Review #162: OCT 06 Rough guess at the box date as this was from a half doz tubos I picked up early 07 from an online vendor. This was a very well constructed cigar with a slightly spongy feel, dark wrapper, firm white ash and lots of smoke. The flavor was of grass and cream with the final third including pepper notes. The draw was easy and I feel the remaining 3 will benefit from a bit more age. Although I only smoke Cuban, I did try a Padron 1964 Monarca a while back and I found some similarities between these two. - Submitted by randallp on August 13, 2008

Review #161: This is a great smoke. Up there price-wise, but worth it. Great smoke, great flavour, great burn. That's about all I look for in a stogie... - Submitted by baobab on August 7, 2008

Review #160: I wish all cigars could be created like this. The Sig VI is an exceptional cigar. No doubt with an average rating of 4.5/5, there are a lot of people that also agree. The appearance is flawless with it's famous gold and black band you know you're in for a treat, even if you spent too much $$$ on this cigar! The flavours are all Cohiba. Vanilla beans are bursting out of this cigar. I didn't find any spice. ...very creamy. The cigar builds in strength and the flavours are most certainly medium, but grow to medium-full by the last 1/3rd. Excellent draw. ...disappointing burn. The wrapper burned a little unevenly at times and I had to touch it up with my cigar lighter. The one thing I love about Cohibas is that everytime I've smoked one, I wish it was a bigger cigar! This is a serious cigar for a serious smoker. - Submitted by cookj1 on August 5, 2008
