Cohiba Siglo VI Review:

The new Siglo VI, presented now in order to commemorate such a significant date, will subsequently pass into the usual range of Cohiba and will be available in different countries at the start of 2003. As such, it will have limited availability and the usual brand band.
The new Cohiba Siglo VI comes in an exclusive format that will only exist in this Habanos brand. Its big format makes it possible to fully appreciate the aroma and taste of the LĂnea 1492 with complete intensity.
With its Cohiba Siglo VI, Habanos S.A. continues to offer the most exclusive cigars in the world, made in order to satisfy the most demanding and select smokers: the Cohiba smokers.

Review #158: JUN 08 nicest puro i have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. - Submitted by billpatrick on June 15, 2008

Review #157: I enjoyed my second Siglo VI tonight while at the cottage on a nice June evening with friends. I enjoyed it a lot. Lots of smoke, a very smooth draw and the burn was superb. Still a very Pricey guilty pleasure. But a pleasure none the less. - Submitted by jdelrizzo on June 1, 2008

Review #156: Even with variuos attempts, I really do not "get" this cigar. Apart from the price and the size which I do not favour, it has repeatedly disappointed me. My last ones are 2005s, so already having a bit of age on them. Sure, they are often perfectly constructed and nice too look at, deliever loads of smoke... But I have also had some that were underfilled, resulting in an nausea-causing grassiness... But neither are they strong nor appealing to me. Creaminess is nice, but the aroma is far from being complex. The loads of vanilla taste already tend to turn me off... Dried flowers in the background, right, but it lacks a bit of earthiness or spice for me. Although the smoke is cool and rich, it tends to be drying as well. With that overload of vanilla, I personally deem it to be what we always suspected, a poseur cigar for those "label smokers". Vanilla will please any human, as it is similar to a human pheromone. It has been the latest trend in dairy or food businesses as alike in wine: A vanilla flavour will always have customer acceptance. That said, you can get a Macanudo Prince Phillip at less than half that price, which is bigger and stresses a very similar flavour profile... If it "needs" to be a Cohiba, I will choose the small ring gauge ones over this giant any time: Siglo I, Lanceros or Coronas Especiales. - Submitted by Hercule Poirot on May 29, 2008

Review #155: JUL 07 To #154 -- There is little point to cluttering up this and other sites with your preachy nonsense. The point of these sites is to aid others on selections based on flavors, etc.-not to insult those with tastes different from your own. My box of these is very good. The large gauge helps allow a symphony of the grassy, creamy and honey and vanilla Cohiba flavors and I find this vitola along with the Esplendido the finest of the brand. Only problem is that this young, the burn can be a little off (to be expected) but it more than compensates with a very unique flavor profile. One of my top 5. - Submitted by jsummers157 on May 24, 2008

Review #154: FEB 07 It has taken me 15 years smoking only Cuban cigars to realise that most are over prized and over rated...Everyone seems to scared to admit it but there are some very very good non cubans out there for half the price. We cigar smokers can be a tad pretentious sometimes. - Submitted by Brian7272 on May 21, 2008
