Cohiba Siglo V Review:
This cigar was introduced in November 1992 and introduced to the international market in 1994, commemorating the 500th anniversary of the arrival of Columbus to the New World. The Siglo series are said to be milder than the rest of the models from the Cuban brand, tasting all them very similar, with mild creamy sweetness, medium bean flavours and also medium tobacco taste. 170mm of smoking pleasure.

Review #35: i´ve had ten singles from a aug 2000 box. it is said that this is a poor year for habanos. my siglo V´s have gray/green wrapper and some of them are hard as drumsticks. i´ve smoked three or four of them and so far one have been plugged. the rest have been wonderfull: creamy and light in the beginning and more grassy and intense when you get to the 2/3. the aftertaste is so long and that you can taste minutes after each puff. Last but not least: what a balance! - Submitted by martin on April 18, 2008
Review #34: I'm surprised this cigar has received such poor ratings. It is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated cigars in the Cohiba line. I've smoked about 5 now, from a 15 pack. All have a stronger than typical "Siglio" taste and flavors are great. I can only imagine one of these cigars with 5+ years aging....My experience has been outstanding and I give this stick a high rating - Submitted by barcelona on February 27, 2008
Review #33: While I have only tried 5 of these sticks, in my view this is the poorest Cohiba from the lot. The wrapper is unusually toothy and uneven in color. It has a distinct burnt paper flavor I detest. Sad but a miss from Cohiba. - Submitted by traded on January 16, 2008
Review #32: Bought a box of five and wasn't impressed. My experience of Cohibas in general is that you get one of two things - the darker the wrapper (in color), the better the cigar. These unfortunately were the light, almost yellowish brown that I have come to equate with papery, almost tasteless Cohibas. Compared with the mocha brown box of Siglo IVs that I smoked shortly afterwards, they paled in comparison. Is it just me? - Submitted by Goldenberg on December 9, 2007
Review #31: It looks good, unlite it smells good, the draw was also good but ... the taste was only average. Allmost no sweetness a bit leathery tobaccoflavour
catches up a littlebit when passing the first half with the Cohibatypical grassiness. Was from 2001. All in all I would always prefer one of my Parti Londsdales from the same year or an Boli GM . So with respect not worth so much money. (Yes and money is an aspect) - Submitted by bolibeli on September 12, 2007
