Review #43: These are a very perplexing cigar to me. I have a few boxes and sometimes they are so superb that my other cigars seem crude by comparison and at other times they are almost bland and monocromatic in their spice and finesse. Yestday I had one with an XO Imperial Cognac and the stick was totally dominated by the Cognac. I found myself having to concentrate on the cigar to really get any value out of it at all. Some affionados want refined polish to their cigars, but sometimes it's nice to have a nick wack of uncontrolled spice, power and personality. At times Cohiba Siglos are lacking in these elements. Could it be that the triple fermentation homogenizes the flavour palette too much ? Trinidads, which are made the same way in the same factory suffer from the same malaise at times. Sometimes it's nice to experience the twang of a Monte......or the thwack of flavours in a Partagas 898. After sampling cigars from nearly every brand, shape and style, my observation is that Cohibas are a style that is worthy of an incremental price difference, but not double the cost of many superb cigars that I've continally been impressed with over the years including the Juan Lopez cigars, which I've discovered only recently. - Submitted by bone_jure on May 20, 2007
Review #42: Pretty heavy but very tasty. Having a 25 box of this, I figured that it should be savoured for after-dinner wine accompanied chats or movie time. Should not be consumed during day for those who experience nausea after a smoke. - Submitted by FLCB on April 23, 2007
Review #41: Just tried one boxed in January 2007(my first cigar from 2007) and it was fantastic! Full of flavor,very creamy perfect draw,and burn.This is the best corona gorda I have ever smoked.Young but,near perfect,with some time they will rate as close to a 10 as you can get.A must for every humidor. - Submitted by Alex on April 15, 2007
