Review #23: For people travelling to Cuba: Don't expect these to be authentic if you bought them anywhere else than La Casa Del Habano. First night in Cuba, I bought one from this touristy restaurant, and it turned out to be a counterfeit. This should cost $7.50 individually or in a box, so if you got it for $4 or $2 it's just not authentic. These and other Cohibas are the absolute favorite among the counterfeiters and you'll bump into people selling "Cohibas" everywhere. The real things I love, although they're not my absolute favorite among Cuban cigars. Great, great cigars nonetheless, and made Padrons (from Nicaragua, not bad by any means, either) pale in comparison. - Submitted by John L on January 21, 2005
Review #22: I went to Havana for Chirstmas last month and this was the first cigar of many I sampled. Don't jump into this brand right away as I did. I was caught off guard and was quickly over powered by a cigar that is clearly designed to incapacitate. Billinrio: I also found it to have lots of smoke, and grey and white ash; but so did every other cigar I smoked. Settle down buddy. - Submitted by Eddy on January 12, 2005
Review #21: WOW! Smoked this cigar on the Beach in Varadaro last week and wow that was a Cuban expereince. Nice flavour very smooth compared to other Cohiba's not to mention the Cuban girl I shared it with on the Beach...Bill Cliton Style! - Submitted by Beach on December 10, 2004
Review #20: I got some of these 4 years ago in Havana and they have been patiently resting in my humidor. Since they started to show some bloom on the chocolate brown wrapper, I decided to light one up. Expert construction; inviting aroma; perfect draw; lots of smoke; grey and white mottled ash; complex flavor that expands and deepens as you proceed. Very satisfying. - Submitted by billinrio on November 5, 2004
Review #19: What can I say, get a good quality siglo II, preferably EMS stamped and it is undoubtably the best mareva you can get. Rich, fairly complex in flavour, smooth but spicy and not overly strong in body. Has a delicious aroma that will relax you until you fall off your chair either after a nice lunch or dinner and will smoke to the nub. - Submitted by A. Dyer on October 31, 2004
