Review #5: This is a real looker and very well constructed... I've smoked 2 of these so far, and actually they are pretty average tasting for a medium cigar - nothing stands out as really unique... A bit disapointing. Too bad so no more Cohiba Secretos for me... - Submitted by Eduard on July 31, 2007

Review #4: This cigar is a powerhouse. Possibly one of the strongest cigars I've ever had. This is what I expect from a Maduro. Cohiba really nailed the line perfectly. Secretos: full flavoured. Magicos: medium flavoured. Genios: mild flavoured. There is a maduro for everyone within this new line. Beginners or people without a palate for a full flavoured cigar may not appreciate the flavours and aromas of the Secretos. Although it's been aged already 5 years, this cigar needs more age moreso than the other within the line. It is raw and bold and will find some incredible balance with another five years. The Secretos seemed the most raw to me of the line. Spice, coffee, and grass were the predominant flavours. The aroma is all Cohiba. This cigar has the famous Cuban twang that cigar connoisseurs look for. I thought I detected some sweet notes but they were overcome immediately by the other flavours. Perhaps there are some chocolate notes, but my palate didn't pick this up like it did with the Magicos. More coffee notes than anything. I really enjoyed this flavour-bomb, but I will age these more to allow them to settle dowm more before attempting to smoke them again. - Submitted by cookj1 on July 26, 2007

Review #3: I was among the lucky few to be invited to the Cohiba Maduro 5 ceremony hosted by Habanos S.A. and Casa Del Habano in my country. The three maduro cigars were offered right after a fabulus dinner. I first smoked the Secretos and decided to share my experience here. A very dark wrapper with a lot of "tooth". The cigar gives a wonderful taste of dark chocolate prior to lighting. It had a wonderful draw and built a straight white ash with each puff. A rich cigar that delivers a spicy chocolate/coffee taste to the palate. It was a good cigar - not great but overall good. However, I feel that cigars this size from other brands (Bolivar, Partagas) DO NOT fall behind. But again this is just my opinion. The two bigger ones are still in my humidor - I'll share my impressions once they are smoked. - Submitted by PDL on July 24, 2007

Review #2: I smoked this just before smoking an excellent Magicos. It was disapointing. The draw was tight, the burn uneven and the taste was rather woden. This cigar does not compare well with its bigger brother. - Submitted by petevicar on July 6, 2007
