Cohiba Piramides LE 2001 Review:

This cigar isn't particularly 'Cohiban', nor is it typically Cuban. The construction is outstanding, however the wrapper is not the usual thrice-fermented Cohiba style, but rather the '2nd generation' of the 2 year-old dark reddish-brown special edition wrappers.
This cigar burns very evenly, a testament to its superior construction. It is medium in body, not strong - with much spice and pepper tones, and a touch of leather and chocolate notes. Further on it became slightly acidic on the lips, and showed other signs of youth - so it will improve with ageing. In six months to 2 years, this cigar may well become a highly unique smoke with unusual brand characteristics, and prized for its rarity considering the limited availability.

Review #33: A great cigar, full of flavor and great draw, coffee cream and the aroma was great, still have a couple left but they are way past their real flavor.remember smoking one in a bar and fellow came to me and asked what cigar I am smoking cause he loved the aroma, had to offer him. - Submitted by Jose Mario on May 30, 2015

Review #32: Awesome! Creamy smoke and chocolate sweet, with slight saltiness. Very earthy with developping leather aromas. Accents of wood, cocoa/coffee and dried fruits. Perfect burn. Smoke one if you know one from who you can get one. - Submitted by B3n on February 3, 2012

Review #31: JUN 08 My favourite cigar. The taste evolves rather quickly, so every draw is a surprise. This cigar will never disappoint you. - Submitted by Loodak91 on June 7, 2010

Review #30: Exceptional cigar! Starts roasty, woody and chocolaty. Second half gains creaminess and very much resembles the 2006 re-release. - Submitted by Hercule Poirot on November 22, 2008

Review #29: very yummy with hints of coco. smokes very fast. - Submitted by jason peterson on March 9, 2008
