Review #53: FEB 01 This is a very different Cohiba, so robusto smokers please suspend your scepticism.Wonderfully constucted, they may appear a tad tight and initially difficult to draw on.However, with a little patience these elegant long cigars reveal true Cohiba class.Best enjoyed with a spicy wheaty bourbon, WL Weller 12YR will do nicely, expect a smooth, coffee mocha palate, backed up with earthy nuttiness.Never hot, it burns beautifully down to the last third. An hour and a half of mature smoking pleasure.Highly commended.Best smoked after a few years careful storage in a humidor. - Submitted by pompousmax on June 27, 2009

- Submitted by cipu on June 1, 2009

Review #51: I was not too impressed with this cigar. perhaps being a case of my underdeveloped palatte, but I found it too light and whilst it had good subtle flavours, a tad on the boring side. that being said the cigar was perfectly made, and the wrapper was fine with a nice healthy sheen. the cigar also smoked quite cooly, surprisingly - Submitted by antonius on March 17, 2009

Review #50: Just had one of these an hour ago, took almost two hours and I preferred the first half to the second half..First half danced lightly around the palate, second half was quite strong in my opinion..but nonetheless, classic cohiba..also had a Monte 4 two nights, ago..maybe it was the atmosphere, but actually preferred the Monte 4..perhaps I'm more suited for Monte's - Submitted by kevpau on February 18, 2009

Review #49: Never gaining in strength to be anything overly powerful, the Lanceros tended to be quite linear. I was very disappointed with this cigar. I expected it to be so much better given the high quality I expect from Cohiba. The familiar Cohiba vanilla bean and grass were present. Certainly there is no other brand quite like that of Cohiba with their distinct tobacco blends. The Lanceros never quite delivers what could be so promising. I'm very disappointed with this particular Cohiba tobacco blend. The flavours do not linger afterward like some other Cohibas do. A forgettable smoke. I suspect the high marks for this cigar are for its reputation, however, there are many more Cubans that are far more deserving of these high ratings. - Submitted by cookj1 on January 17, 2009
