Review #15: Smoked my first one a week ago and it was great. I think that aging will make them better but the smooth coco- peppery taste was very pleasing now. I bought a box of ten so I'll see first hand how much they improve over the years if i can muster the discipline to wait. - Submitted by cigarguy59 on November 22, 2007
Review #14: Hola. I have to confess that I was expecting more about this Genios with all that rich presentation worldwide. Also, after tasting Mágicos before, I find nowadays in this cigar less quality. Maybe five years resting in the humidor would refine the cigar, who knows. Today I smoke a cigar with very good presence (however, with no pig tail head as the picture in the side), with a good maduro wrapper, which started very ‘Cohiba’ at first third, powerful and flavourful, turning to a boring inconsistent smoke in the second and last third. Maybe too open draw considering the ring gauge and burning uneven. I can’t say it was a bad experience, but I was expecting a more ‘serious’ cigar. Let’s hope age acts well on this Genios. - Submitted by olisiponense on November 16, 2007
Review #13: What an afternoon pleasure! Complex yet an easy going cigar..with a rich bouquet. Beside the obvious uneven burning - it is one of the ultimate cigars on the market! - Submitted by dcecavac on November 8, 2007
Review #12: when i smoked my first i wondered if i'm smoking a cigar!! the taste was new to me very sublime and the aromas oh boy lifts you straight to heavens. - Submitted by jcharbot on October 17, 2007
Review #11: Bought one and kept it in the humidor waiting eagerly for my birthday to light it up. Came the big day and yes...yes it was great. Pre-light draw was coffee and chocolate (this is true) once lit it smacks you straight away and commands your attention. After a few draws and making sure the burn is on, the flavours are all there as have been described, they never get hot, they dont really change, but at least the intensity lessens whilst the flavours keep coming. This stayed true all the way to the end. Only problem with this cigar was uneven burning during its time spent in my hand, something that time may have fixed. I bought a box and will see. 9 out of 10 only because of the burn issues. - Submitted by dragar on October 15, 2007
