Review #23: Tried a few from a friend and they seemed like then could use a little aging..is it just me? Dont get me wrong it was a great smoke but something was missing.
Question: I bought my box of CDC LEs last year around this time. What would be considered ample time to age these sticks. I have a 6 foot humidor full of other cohibas ect so I am in no rush to open them. Have a box of sublimes that I am aging as well. Any suggestions are much appreciated. - Submitted by Siglo Smoker on August 3, 2005
Review #22: I do not smoke cigars that often but I am a keen occasional smoker of cigars (as I am a proffesional cyclist), I chose this cigar to celebrate my two Olympic games Gold medals andit was THE best cigar I have smoked and I am after buying a box of these! - Submitted by Graeme Brown on March 2, 2005
Review #21: In respose to Review # 20 The answer is yes and I have seen them.....The Cohiba Double Corona LE was first released in the summer of 2003. Most if not all LE's Have a production run of at least 1 year....Some have had more. Some like the Hoyo particulares have had 2 separate production runs. Having said that It is also not unusual to see conflicting yearly cigar bands as opposed to the stamped box date. In other words it is possible to see a box code of say Jan/Feb 04 with a 2003 cigar band. As For the Quality of these cigars...solid construction, medium body, sweet and complex flavors. a solid 9/10 - Submitted by Bob on January 30, 2005
