Review #44: It is funny how people interpret these reviews as Reviewr #40 seems to think I got bad merchandise. Is it possible that I just thought this cigar sucked. My other friends loved them, but I did not think they lived up to all of the hype surrounding this DC. They came from Mitchell himself at C.Gars Ltd UK. If he was buying bad smokes would he have the reputation that his shop carries worldwide. I don't think so. People are very quick to say that others must have counterfeit cigars on this board, but I imagine an awful lot of people could be fooled as I think a lot are American and do not know what they are actually getting when a box says "from Cuba". When compared to a well aged Lusitania those Cohiba DC's just plained sucked. My personal opinion, and we can buy smokes legally here so I do not understand the need to say counterfeit, when someone says a certain smoke did not live up to it's reputation. Come to Geneva and check it out! Look me up and we can al have a smoke! Happy New Year to all of my friends I have made on this board, but am wondering where HabanoHal has been. He writes great reviews and never b.s's, just writes it as hehas experienced it and does not get into all of that it tasted like a boc of chocalate covered leather coffee bean.
Hal, write something so we all know you are well, and your reviews are missed. Richard - Submitted by Rich Golodner on January 28, 2008
Review #43: after reading all those reviews and the sublimes 2006 discussion in memory I am in a lot of doubt... I Still have a full box of them, laying around waiting for 5 years of age... I think next weekend I'm gonna take the jump and smoke my first of my box. I bought it in Cuba and knowing how easy they make up stories to sell there goods... it was a casa del habanos shop, but as I said, I saw sublimes 2006 with my own eyes also in a casa del habano... I hope they are real and taste like heaven, but if they are fakes, please let them be made with quality tobacco ;-( Update next week - Submitted by Yapi on January 27, 2008
Review #42: My box came from Puro Exp. and I've got to believe what Review #40 says as this is a reputable company but the ones I have are PURE TRASH! I've been waiting for them to "come around" but undoubtedly these are fakes. I have no shortage of "real" Habanos (including nearly every Cohiba vitola) in my collection and it pains me to no-end that a few year's ago I dropped $600 for this garbage. Give me a "real" Punch, SLR, Hoyo, or Ramon Allones any day of the week and twice on Sunday. - Submitted by Shooter on December 23, 2007
Review #41: I've smoked 10 of these for the past 3 months and every one of them has fullfilled my expectations. This is the best double corona I've ever tasted. I can't wait to smoke the last 15 in the box. - Submitted by qazbah on December 11, 2007
