Review #36: ---   This is the best cigar I have ever tasted. The taste is so complex and I love the spicey flavor. To get a better taste, try to drink coke with the cigar, the taste becomes 10 times better. I loved this cigar, this is my favourite. - Submitted by Spassy on April 6, 2010

Review #35: SEP 08 Presentation : The Corona Especiales is simply the best Panatela ever made. This cigar is truly elegant and simply represents a classic Havana. Appearance & Construction: The dark chocolate brown Colorado silky smooth wrapper is firm with no really soft spots out of the ordinary. The Cohiba world famous triple cap is a nice touch as well. To briefly sum up, this is one great looking cigar with a nice firm feel. Pre-light: Being one of the most pleasant of the Cohiba ‘Classic Line Series’, the first thing you notice are the fresh, grassy, earth aromas, before lighting. Flavor: I don't think I've ever smoked a "perfect" cigar but this was pretty close. This cigar is medium bodied and mild strength and has lots of complex flavors including espresso and chocolate. This cigar is nice with a hint of spice, just as you'd expect from a Cohiba. Smoking Characteristics: The cigar lit easily and burned very even. It had a nice lush draw (unusually so for a Panatela of this size) that produced volumes of smoke and the aroma is first class. The mild, medium-bodied cigar has an easy draw and the toasty notes add to the creaminess of this cigar. Halfway through the smoke there are wood and leather notes which develop and then give way to dry earth aromas. The second third is marked by a slight woody / cedar spiciness Burning: Dark honey notes with a gentle earthiness with a even burn with no ‘tunneling’ either. Final: The finish is smooth, very aromatic, and its memory lingers for a while. The cigar smokes cool yet has warmth to it, and burns slowly, providing a dark gray ash. Overall Impression: This cigar was truly a smoking experience and if you're looking for a classic Cuban that will leave you in cigar heaven…then this is your Havana cigar. - Submitted by jenkinschristopher on March 7, 2010

Review #34: ---   WOW, Outstanding is the word. Just bought a second hand humidor. The guy who sold it to me had stopped smoking 10 years ago and left a whole box of Corona Especiales and some Monty 4 in it. Of course they were all dried up after 10 years not being taken care of. Smoked one right away: There was a strong bitterness taste all along and not much to appreciate. Then I left them in the humidor for 2 weeks at the proper humidity level. WHAT A SHOCK! Its the ugly toad turning into a magnificent princess!! Is it the 10 year aging?!?! I don’t know. I heard they don’t age properly if they’re not in a humid environment. Anyone knows about aging? One thing that’s for sure, for those of you who ignore it, like me 2 weeks ago, is that a dried up cigar will gain its original state after a 2 week rest in a humidor. Bottom line, this cigar burned even all the way. The smoke was thick and intense; quite impressive considering the small size of the ring. And so was the flavour. As says the résumé, it’s a typical Cohiba flavour with smooth cocoa, moka and vanilla flavours, all so subtle but in dozens of well balance homogenous tones for each of them that you end up with an amazing bouquet of flavours in the mouth.... Best Cohiba I’ve had so far. Enjoy!! - Submitted by dios humo on February 5, 2010

Review #33: ---   Outstanding. Typical grassy Cohiba flavours, but in a mellower smoother body. The vitola really concentrates the flavours nicely. Monte E2 beats it though. Not only on flavour but also on price. - Submitted by Kangaroo495 on October 8, 2009
