Presentation: Humidor containing 40 cigars

Cohiba Behike Review:

Finally, one of the Cohiba greatest secrets came to light. Behike from Cohiba, taking the name of the doctor of the Taino Tribe for the 40th anniversary of the Cuban brand.
These cigars come with an Elie Bleu designed humidor, made with the best decoration materials in the world; Galuchat, black ebony, mother of pearl, sycamore, cedar and ox bone. The humidor will also be personalised with its number, the cigars number and the owner's name. Only 100 humidors, with 40 cigars each will be sold upon exclusive order of Habanos distributors for the price of 15000 euros each, double ringed and numbered from 1 to 4000. That's why the best plants of Vuelto Abajo and growers were selected and manufactured by Norma Fernandez.
The cigars measurements are 52 ring gauge by 192 mm length (perfect combination of Siglo VI and Lancero respectively)

Review #44: ---   I normally smoke the Siglo VI, and the Behike put the Siglo to shame. I have smoked 1 and let me tell you… it was like heaven on earth. I have never tasted a finer cigar. 1000 Kudos to the blender and roller. - Submitted by dawggydaddy on July 27, 2010

Review #43: ---   I bought a box oh BHK 52 in switzerland from gerard pere et fils a month ago. I do not like to age cigars, or honestly don't have the patience. For the BHK though I was waiting for a special evening or great dinner. It did not happen. This morning I was relaxing on the terrace sunbathing and decided to smoke one after a light meal. The box is beautiful. The 10 cigars are simply perfect. A colorado claro. Silky and oily as never seen before on a cuban cigar. Construction is perfect. Draw is perfect. As soon as you cut the cigar you can see it is rolled in a perfect spiral. As to the flavor aroma and power, it started out almost medium and progressed in power. The taste was excellent even though a little one-dimensional. Floral notes, some coffee and tabaco taste. In my modest opinion I dont think the flavor is overwhelming. It gets very powerfull by the last third. I smoked it outdoor with no wind even though to fully appreciate the taste it would probably have been best indoor. I must say after i finished the cigar i felt a little stoned. I dont know if its because of too much sun, or the BHK :). My conclusion is that every serious ciban cigar should be made with these exceptional quality standards standards, but if it is taste you are looking for, there are better cigars out there at 1/3 of the price. But i am happy i have 9 left :) - Submitted by danex on July 6, 2010

Review #42: MAR   Just smoked the NEW Behike 54, and I have to say this is probably the finest cigar ever produced. I was never really a huge Cohiba fan before going to Cuba for the introduction of the Maduro 5. I was fortunate to visit the El Laguito factory where I was able to acquire several of the original Behikes. The original was exceptional, but the new release surpasses it: perfect draw, excellent burn; starts off very mild but develops in flavor and complexity as you smoke; half way it accomplishes itself as a truly fine powerhouse of a cigar. If I had any complaint it would be that it was almost too powerful nicotine-wise at the finish. Heavy meal recommended before taking on this smoke. I have been quoted many times as saying "there is no such thing as a $50 cigar"--I paid $27.50 for this Behike and would gladly pay double. - Submitted by sshawzam on July 6, 2010

Review #41: ---   u know guys, cohiba is an overated cuban brand. People everywhere buy cohiba just because they don't wanna risk on other brands. We just can't afford to test this cohiba or even the small siglo, which is really harsh. Buy an el rey del mundo, bolivar or ramon allones and u will see the quality. After all is better to smoke more if u can instead of buy a cohiba. - Submitted by luk on May 28, 2010

Review #40: ---   I had one 54 a few days ago, great smoke eventhough I do find medio tiempo to be a marketing matter and doesn't add fortaleza or flavors. 96/100 my own rating so far - Submitted by sociologist on May 27, 2010
