Review #15: I have two boxes, Oct 03 and aug 02, both are excellent. I have also sampled three other years. One of my favorites by far. My only complaint is that they seem overly sensitive to storage conditions. Get that humidity just a bit too high and the flavor is gone. But when they are on they're heaven. Rich, spicy and smooth with an excellent burn and draw. They need to be pampered, but their worth it. - Submitted by Montyman on July 19, 2004

Review #14: I received a box from 3/03 and I think it needs a lot of time in the humidor. it had a bad burn but a good draw. This was my third try at this smoke and i'll have to give it at least 3 more months to age... First impression, not too good. please let me know what the previous box dates were. maybe i just got a bad batch???? - Submitted by chilli on June 11, 2004

Review #13: ln my opinion, this is the best robusto in the world.lt has a good draw with spice, cedar and salty notes.Wonderful burn and medium to full bodied. However it is not for beginners and inexperinced person. This is my late afternoon cigar and it makes me happy when l smoked it.Certainly superb. You must try it. - Submitted by unknown on June 6, 2004

Review #12: Personally I would have to say dollar-for-dollar this is THE BEST Habanos available. I am not saying that this is the best vitola overall but for the price it surely is. The main point with this flavorful robustos is to make sure they have at least two years of aging. This gives it time to let its flavors mature and gain balance. The RC starts out very rich with a toasty, nutty and creamy flavor. As you smoke it the leathery, coffee and woodsy notes develop and continue to throughout the cigar. With a little bit of age the Bolivar RC does not have any harshness even if you decide to smoke it to a nub. Overall a GREAT robustos! - Submitted by Monkeyboy on May 29, 2004

Review #11: A fabulous cigar! A prefect draw combined with a perfect burn. The nice, dark, rich wrapper contained deep and evolving flavors from cedar to orange peel to pepper and spice. The body was wonderfully smooth yet very satisfying and the smoke was thick and rich. The ash was nice and solid. I smoked this one all the way down to my fingers but the flavors never turned. Definitely an aficionado’s cigar, one of the best robustos I have ever smoked. - Submitted by martinsfsu on April 15, 2004
